Build Floating Wood Wall Shelves Contemporary Shelf

To add some dimension to your walls, we recommend floating wood shelves.  They are extremely easy to install and look great in rooms that is very plain.  Go ahead and pick out a color that goes with the paint of the wall and/or the furniture in the room.

It usually looks best to have 2 or 3 shelves on the area of wall you wish to add a dimension.  The largest shelf will go on the bottom.   You can add décor such as candles, vases, scents, etc. to each shelf.  In general the shelves have about a 15lb weight limit, so don’t over do it.

This looks is great when your entire pad has paintings, pictures, and bare walls.  The shelves show a unique look that is distinguished from the rest of the house.

To install the shelving, they come with a mount that is screwed into the wall along with all the hardware you need.  Once you anchor it in correctly and straight, you just slide your shelf on and then screw it into the mount accessory.

If you want to even get fancier, you can add a unique color of paint just behind the shelves to give it a nice accent.
