Decorating Dining Room Decor Design Ideas

Decorating your bachelor pad dining room should be of good effort.  The dining room is a great place to bring a date back for dinner or just a casual drink of wine.  If you dining room decor is set right, than the mood may strike and your comfort building could lead to much more.

If you plan on entertaining guest for a bbq or just dinner, you will need an area for them to sit and be social. A table with atleast 4 chairs is the norm; however we recommend you get a 6 chair table. It is always a pain to look for extra chairs when you have a couple extra guests over for that killer BBQ that everyone will be talking about for years.
A simple table from Wal-Mart and such will suffice. There is no need to spend big dollars on a table and chairs.

The dining room table can be decorated with a number of different accents.  We found the most important accents of the room to be a unique light fixture.  This light fixture should have a dimmer in which you can use to set a mood or to brighten up the area for you and some friends to play poker.

A mirror on a wall behind the table will add depth to the room and a nice touch.  Remember to keep this mirror clean as people may use it when walking by the room.

On the table we like to use candles and possibly a piece of art.  However you don’t want anything to get too cluttered so usually it is best to pick one of the other for your bachelor pad table. 

A plan in the corner of room always adds nicely to any room, but the dining room in particular looks great with it.  Again you can add a light within the plant, pointing up to set the mood at night.

Decorating your dining room should stem from your own creative ideas, but don’t be afraid to use a décor idea you saw at someone’s home or in a store.
