Throwing a Halloween Party in Your Bachelor Pad

When deciding to throw a party at your bachelor pad, it can be a rather big decision and planning will be vital to the success of your party.  Although a party can be winged and a last minute decision, we recommend you take your time and plan a party to remember.

When your guest arrive, your bachelor pad décor will not be as essential as the Halloween décor that you provide.  You do not need to go out and spend a lot of money as you can make your decorations with supplies from party supermarket rather easily.  Cob webs, spiders, mummy’s, tombstones, black lights, etc are all great little décor items to add to your theme.

You can purchase white sheets at Wal-Mart and drape all your furniture with the sheets and then add some cob webs.  Spiders and other accessories will stand out on the white sheets too and look great in the dim setting.

You can also purchase a smoke machine or dry ice to give a more eerie sense to your rooms.

Stores such as Party Supermarket will have everything you need and you should be able to get the accessories you need without breaking your wallet.   

As an adult bachelor you will want to have the following checklist:

Cool Drinks with scary names such as “Blood Mary” or you can make up your own such as “Death on the Beach”.

Finger Foods with plates and utensils.

Cool music such as Michael Jackson’s Thriller and like music.   There are Halloween soundtracks that you can purchase or download to your iPod.

Plan a game and award a prize to keep the party social and not to leave anyone out.

Dressing up the house pet is always a good way to strike up conversation with any guest

 Disposable camera’swith a flash provided to guest are a great way to allow your guest to make memories

Cool invitations with your theme could be vital to getting the word out about your party.   

 

Taking pictures of the party with your own digital camera is a great way to remember the event.  You can go on social networks such as FaceBook and tag all your friends in the photos.

The next day we recommend you save all your decorations in a box for when you want to do it again.
